Ron L. Miranda started his career in the real estate mortgage and financial services field in 2000 and after 18 month's in the business quickly became a top selling mortgage lending officer. He has had a successful career in every aspect of the real estate and the mortgage finance industry. With his vision for better things in his life and abilities he quickly built his mortgage brokerage business, Platinum Tree Mortgage, LLC, in 2003, into a successful mortgage brokerage within the lending business, very quickly grew his business into a multi-million dollar lending office and began to recruit a staff of loan officers. Without a crystal ball to predict the mortgage meltdown, the mortgage industry began to fall apart. Shortly after the 2007 financial crisis when banks and mortgage lenders collapsed, Ron decided, until the financial lending landscape regained footing, he transferred his background in finance into the commercial insurance industry, where his specialty grew in to the property & casualty, general liability, E & O, and commercial property insurance market.
Later in 2007, tragedy and the loss of his father struck his family after long battle with diabetes and heart disease. Ron learned the true importance of life insurance, after his father passed away without having left any life insurance protection for the family. Mr. H.G. Miranda was very traditional and not having the knowledge of what life insurance could provide and the future implications he never purchased insurance. Ron's mother was left to make ends meet without any further assistance or income from the disability benefits his father had been receiving, as a 100% disabled Korean War Veteran. After experiencing first-hand about the financial toll this took on his Mother, Ron decided to focus on helping others in planning for the unplanned events in their lives. But it would come much later than he had planned. Through 2008/2009 Ron focused on building an agency for commercial clients and continued selling insurance products and services for commercial businesses.
In 2010, Ron began selling and listing real estate and slowly transitioned back into the real estate industry to fulfill his dream for helping clients buy, sell and lease real estate throughout San Antonio. Within two short years, in 2012, he became a licensed real estate broker and formed The Miramas Group, LLC and applied his business acumen and began building his real estate brokerage. Through his unwavering recruitment efforts, Ron began on-boarding real estate agents throughout Texas to his firm. He later formed TexasBrokerSponsor.com® the same year and in 2013 formed, TexasMLSBroker.com, his background in finance and business insurance, afforded him the opportunity to assist other real estate agents to prosper and build their own real estate brokerages under his leadership. Through is partnership with Joe Dale Iley of Mission Real Estate Group, they've been growing ever since inception. As of 2020, Ron continues to build and expand his brokerage brands by adding in 2019, yet another successful brokerage known as 1st Brokerage, while supporting agents in every major market in Texas through the various company divisions.
In 2017, Ron had a dear friend pass away unexpectedly without life insurance for the family. Shortly after, he decided it was time to purchase life insurance for himself in order to protect his own family. Realizing the loss of loved one's can occur at any time to anyone at any moment. In an effort to help others, he and his wife of 19 years, Serena O'Gwin-Miranda, discussed the possibilities within the industry with a friend, named Santos Velasquez, to begin the venture into the insurance agency business to educate and sell policies through,Networth Insurance Services, LLC ("Networth Life"). The company now offers final expense, whole life, term, 401(k) rollovers, Medicare insurance, health insurance, home, auto, commercial as well as retirement planning services to individuals, families and business owners. Their journey into the insurance industry proved to be a perfect time due to the ever-growing demand for life insurance within the industry.
In addition to life insurance, Ron's company offers financial products and services such as retirement planning through referral partners, income strategies for individuals and small business owners. The type of retirement planning Networth Life focuses on, is able to show clients how to obtain a lifetime guaranteed income stream in retirement - which they can never outlive - all while their principal is protected from loss.
